Only 25 days left to submit entries for the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Awards 2024

Launched on April 19, 2024, the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Awards 2024 has entered the final phase, with only nearly one month left until the submission deadline (August 8, 2024).

This is an annual award aimed at honoring organizations and individuals with outstanding digital content products that spread positive cultural values to the community, contributing to the development of Vietnam's digital content creation industry. The award is chaired by the Vietnam Digital Communications Association and organized by the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Alliance (DCCA).

The Vietnam Digital Content Creation Awards 2024 will be given to 2 groups with 8 categories. Among them, the group of awards for digital content works and products includes 4 categories: Outstanding Short Film/Video, Outstanding Animated Film, Outstanding Advertisement Film/Video, and Outstanding Digital Content Product in Education.

The group of awards for businesses, organizations, and individuals includes 4 categories: Outstanding Digital Content Creator, Digital Content Creator for the Community, Promising Digital Content Creator, and Inspirational Digital Content Creator.

Specially, this is the first year the awards include the category of Inspirational Digital Content Creator. This new category honors businesses, organizations, and individuals who have made positive contributions to the digital content creation field and have gained public admiration. The winner will be selected by the community through an online voting system on the official awards website.
The evaluation criteria for digital content products also focus on encouraging creativity and uniqueness. Additionally, the criteria include the message of the work, technology application, effectiveness and results, and the potential to contribute to the community.
For the category of Outstanding Short Animated Film, the criteria will emphasize animation elements, creativity and uniqueness, effectiveness, results, and the potential to contribute to the community. The same applies to Outstanding Animated Film Script and Potential Animation IP Character Sets.
Honored businesses, organizations, and individuals need to demonstrate their vision, strategy, and goals. The works must exhibit creativity and uniqueness, apply technology, bring about effectiveness, and contribute to the development of culture, education, and the community through digital content products.
The entries must have been released to the public between September 1, 2023, and August 8, 2024. The duration should not exceed 40 minutes for short film/video entries, 30 minutes for animated film/video entries, and 100 minutes for other video entries, including introductions, titles, and end credits. There are no restrictions on genre or language. If a language other than Vietnamese is used, Vietnamese subtitles are required.
Participated works have not received official awards from any competition. The author is responsible for image and sound copyright (if using images/music from a third party, written consent from the copyright owner must be provided). If the work is the product of a group of authors, a written commitment to participate in the contest is required from group members. The work is in MP4 format (H264 format), minimum size HD 720P, minimum image speed: 25fps, minimum transmission speed: 1.5Mbps.

In addition, the animated script category is awarded to works that have not been adapted into films or have not been released to the public. The Animation IP category is awarded to all unreleased and publicly released character sets. The dialogue and images of the work do not violate legal regulations, are not contrary to good customs and traditions, and do not promote banned products according to Vietnamese law. Do not use map images with the "cow tongue line", the map lacks images of Vietnam's Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.
